I am delighted to be partnering with a family-run defence supplier who pride themselves on saving lives. Since their creation they have saved over 7500 lives through the use of their product. They are currently recruiting a Mechanical Inspector to join the business and help them to continue on that mission.

The role comes with:

Up to £40,000 salary + 1.5x overtime
Day shift (8 am to 4:45pm Monday Thursday, 8 am 12pm on Friday)
9% noncontributory pension scheme

Day to day you will undertake a variety of inspection processes for product verification involving the product manufacture.

If you have previous experience with the following I want to hear from you.

Inspection experience within manufacturing and engineering environments.
Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of geometrical dimensional tolerance (GDT), mechanical and electronic visual measuring resources, inspection tools and equipment.
Numeracy and geometry skills.
Experience of using hand tools.
