Description
Our Client is a Market leading manufacturer of Food Processing Equipment and systems based on the Bedfordshire/ Cambridgeshire border.
Due to continued growth in both domestic and overseas markets they are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Projects Administrator to join their team.
Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers with the completion of their duties, including:
- Setting up of Projects, including; technical file numbers, internal job numbers and drawing Numbers.
- Setting part numbers for preorder valves according to P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation diagram).
- Identifying/Specifying parts and materials to send to purchasing.
- Monitoring and chasing of parts and materials ordered.
- Assisting with, Sales, Design, Accounts, Shop floor and Stores queries relating to Project duties.
- Supporting and understanding the "flow "of the manufacturing process.
- Internal progress chasing.
- Shipping organisation.
- Manage and maintain the contents of the Projects Folders database on the server ensuring that all documents are filed and updated correctly.
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers in monitoring and recording schedules with the Sales, Technical, Electrical Engineering and Factory Managers that also aligns with the Customer's schedule, and to ensure that all key dates on this schedule are met.
Monitor and Record:
- Preparation of the layout drawings for the Customer to approve.
- Customer's written approval of the designs.
- Items to be purchased that may have a long lead time are preordered to as required.
- Manuals and spares quotations are prepared and sent on time.
Maintain the information on the white board as required including:
- Assigned Design Engineers to projects.
- Monitor and update completion dates.
- Update delivery date.
- S/O Delivery date.
Design Engineering:
- Maintain the information on the Projects Progress chart.
- Update weekly
- Sales orders and Projects Progress Chart.
- Collation and control of Project images update and review.
- Assist DE's with formulation of BOM's.
- Update BOM's "as built".
- Maintain drawing update records.
- Assist in formulation of new database for serial numbers and manufacturing records.
- Assist Technical Dept with pressure vessel/technical records.

£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
