We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Early Years specialist to join our team as a Senior Lecturer.

The role includes working on ITE courses, Postgraduate routes and providing professional development.

You must be able to work closely with mentors in partner schools to establish and maintain links which ensure strong theory to practice connections.

Providing pastoral support and enabling students to thrive and become independent professionals who are proud to be part of Birmingham City University is essential to your role.

You will be supported to develop research, enterprise and scholarly activities which are integral to the post.

Applicants must hold a first degree and have QTS. Experience of teaching in primary schools is essential and prior experience of working in Initial Teacher Training is desirable. A higher degree would be desirable to fulfil the requirements of this post.
