Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking for a new role in Southfields, Wandsworth?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a SEN Primary School based in Southfields, Wandsworth starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year with a potential togo permanent upon review. The daily rate for the position will be between £80 to £90 dependant on experience.

The School:

The Primary SEN School is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated providing high quality education for students aged between 2 to 11 years old.

The school specialise in educating students with severe and/or profound learning disabilities. Many students have additionalneeds including Autism and Speech, Language and Communication needs. The school consists of up to 60 students with all students holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has free parking on siteand on local roads.

The Position:

You will be working as a Learning Support Assistant supporting students in a mixed KS1 class of Year 1 and Year 2.

You will be supporting up to 3 students on a 1:1 basis at different times who have Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

You will be requiredto support students within the classroom and during breaks and lunches. This is a full time position, 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
