About the team:


Our Commercial Technical Sales Team work very closely with our internal product and design teams and external customers to provide end to end support for our customers with Public Health and Building Services requirements. Their role is to meticulously understand the heating and hot water needs of our existing and intended customer base, and the products that Baxi has that can enable them to meet the specification requirements of their property, ensuring they are compliant with current and pending legislative and regulatory requirements.

As the new Head of Building Services, you will be instrumental in defining the product development in this area. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a technically minded sales team working with a renowned product portfolio across a defined industry segment.

About the role:


On a daily basis you'll be responsible for;

Identifying new ways of creating long-term value through new technologies and services that reinforce Baxi UK as a leader based on solution rather than on price within the Commercial arena

Working very closely with the Commercial Sales Director to implement the UK & Ireland strategy for all Remeha & Potterton brands to deliver the budget. This includes consistently evaluating project conversion, lead generation and route to market strategy for your business segment.

Defining and implementing a strategy to enhance the customer experience and provide a competitive advantage within Commercial HVAC, including Identifying opportunities for utilising existing brands for further acquisition and company growth into new sectors within the HVAC sector

Building strong relationships with external bodies such as CIBSE to raise the profile and awareness of BAXI across all sectors

Defining the product development roadmap for Remeha, playing an instrumental role in the NPD process, identifying new opportunities across all sectors and future trends from technical performance criteria across all product platforms.

Managing, coaching and motivating the Building Services Sales team. Building effective cross functional relationships across the entire organisation to enable your teams success and support their professional development

Ensuring that CRM system capability aligns within all brands and segments of the business and driving best practice processes across your team.

About you:


Have extensive practical or academic experience within a technical and/ or engineering/ systems design discipline

Be passionate about our customer and our mission and be driven to to deliver relevant long term heating solutions

Be highly numerate and data driven with an ability to turn data into information and action

Have experience of working with Senior stakeholders and skilled at negotiation and managing conflict

Have a proven track record of delivering lead generation and sales across multiple channels and multiple market segments

Be driven by building and maintaining effective and commercial long term relationships
