DegreeSix is a specialist recruitment agency, we are looking for experienced support workers to work alongside Adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues and Challenging Behaviours (Aged in several of the top Residential and Supported Living Services within Northamptonshire.

Many of the homes we assist require staff to be interactive and bring new ideas to the home in order to support and encourage the adults supported to live their life to the fullest

We require staff who have experience with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, mental health and emotional behavioural needs. You will be working on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis with the residents supporting with day-to-day activities.

The role includes:

Organising and accompanying the service users' on social or educational activities and appointments
Building relationships with the service users, staff and their family members
Recording the activity & reporting key aspects of their care
Promoting independence and developing their life skills
Helping them to develop interests and hobbies and flourish in doing what they enjoy

The following would be ideal:

3+ Months of experience in a Social Care setting (Essential)
Full UK driving licence (Prefferable but not neccesary)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Prefferable but not necessary)
