COVER SUPERVISOR

35 hours per week (term time only plus staff development days)

Kent Range 5:
£18,547 - £19,623 pa (pro rata to fte £22,595 - £23,693 pa)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and pro-active person to join our Cover Team.

You will supervise students with pre-prepared activities provided by a teacher and the primary focus is to keep students on task and maintain appropriate learning behaviours in the classroom.

You will need excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in managing a learning environment.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role although applicants with no experience but a clear willingness to learn the role quickly will also be considered.

We are happy to consider a permanent role or annual fixed term contract.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed , selective Girls' school of 1546 students with 453 students in the sixth form (100 boys).

We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.

The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in June 2013. In 2019 our A Level results placed us in top 25% of schools nationally.
