As a Business Planner Support Officer within DIO, you will be involved in a wide variety of work, delivering administrative support to a wide variety of customers.

You will be providing support to the Business Planner role by assisting with an array of business outputs including payment of professional subscriptions and external training fees for colleagues at a regional level, assisting with promotion of external training courses as well as communicating and collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the department.

There will also be an exciting opportunity to assist and support with the development of a new training programme for the region

Person specification:


  • Utilising different payment systems to ensure efficient settlement of incoming invoices for external training and professional subscription fees.
  • Promoting learning opportunities across the region to encourage course uptake.
  • Maintain a clear audit trail for all payments, ensuring all MOD policies are adhered to.
  • Provide a high quality of administrative service.
  • Liaison with Wyton site representatives.
  • Support line manager on administering a new training programme for the region.
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Establishment.
(HoE) and the DIO People Data team to ensure accurate data is created and maintained to support DIO's continued presence on site in line with the DIO Service Level Agreement (SLA) through provision of regular returns to HoE.

Employment Hours
