Description
Blackwell Resourcing Group are working with a growing organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant.

The role will require 1 / 2 days in the Birmingham office and needs an experienced individual who is confident working autonomously.


The role will support several subsidiaries and manage purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank & balance sheet reconciliations and supporting general queries.

The role will be part of a small team and suit a self starter who is looking to join a business that values flexibility.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Assist with monthend closing procedures
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations
  • Provide support in various administrative tasks as needed

Skills:


  • Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial services and accounting principles
  • Experience with Sage 50 or 200
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
