Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic cook to join our existing team on a part time basis. You will need to be a flexible individual as the role includes working alternate weekends. Typical hours are 8am to 2pm.

The role includes preparing refreshments, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks for 17 older adults within a residential home setting.

You will be responsible for ensuring that healthy, balanced and nutritional meals and snacks are prepared and available to our residents.

Due to the swallowing and chewing needs and specific dietary requirements of some individuals you will be required to modify diets to meet their needs.

Previous experience of working within a commercial kitchen is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Please be aware part of this role will also include the completion of mandatory paperwork and records and the day to day cleaning / maintenance of the kitchen.


Job Types:

Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

From £9.50 per hour
