Starfyn Recruitment are delighted to be working with a world leading communications tech company. They are seeking an Area Manager to cover the southeast, M3 corridor. The business has seen a 30% increase in the last 2 years.

They are a business built on long-standing relationships with high-value customers This is a key role to the UK team and a very exciting time to join the business.

This role can be home-based but, weekly office meets are required.

Role - Area Sales Manager

Location - Southeast/M3 corridor

Salary - £25,000-£30,000 + comms, company car, mobile and laptop


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Selling the company's range of products and services
  • Dealing with Construction Co's, highend stores, 5Star hotels, down to local village fetes etc
  • Business development hunting out new business opportunities.
  • Visiting clients on site to present, negotiate and close.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from cradle to grave
  • Diary management
  • Admin work included, ordering, checking goods, invoicing etc.

Experience and Skills:


  • B2B sales experience
  • Field sales experience, used to managing a region, managing diaries and, comfortable being on the road.
  • A passion or, interest in technology
  • Comfortable working with demanding, highvalue clients
  • Previous experience working with electronics or has an interest in radio
  • Support and ongoing development are offered however, they do need someone who is selfsufficient as they do not micromanage
  • Experience dealing with Facilities Manager's, Operations Manager's, GM's and MDs would be beneficial but, not essential

Interview Process:


  • 1st stage is a team's video call with the director.
  • 2nd stage is F2F at their HQ with the director and MD.
  • Ideally wanting someone on board by April 1st
