Description

Out-patient clinics are negotiable, and we will make every effort to fit in with the applicants interests.

General endocrine clinics run on site at the QE and all our diabetes are held in our Trinity diabetes centre (with the exception of the antenatal service, which runs on site at QE within the womens health department) The post-holder will have responsibility for the training and supervision of his/her junior medical staff and will be required to devote time to this activity on a regular basis.

He/she may be named as educational supervisor, with specific responsibilities for assessment and appraisal under the relevant training scheme, as well as providing informal advice and support.

The post-holder will also be expected to teach medical students, nurses and allied health professionals, as required.
