Full-Time Cover Supervisor Vacancy (South Liverpool School)


We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time Cover Supervisor until the end of the academic year.

The role is based in a South Liverpool school, which is committed to providing a high-quality education to our students.


Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes of students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Delivering preplanned lessons to a high standard
  • Managing student behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
  • Supporting the learning and development of students
  • Undertaking administrative duties associated with the role

Qualifications and experience:

  • A degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour and diffuse difficult situations
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A passion for education and a desire to inspire young people
