    Contract Building Regulations Consultant


    London - Hybrid Working

    The client is seeking a Contract Building Regulations Consultant to lead jobs and ensure safety and compliance on major building projects.


    Key Responsibilities:



    • Act as building regulations consultant for a well-established design team.

    • Collate and comment on Design Risk compliance documents, producing and reviewing the BSA compliance Risk Register/Project Compliance Coordination Record.

    • Review full design packages, highlighting Building Regulations compliance and preparing Building Regulations Compliance Reports.

    • Gather input from independent technical specialists and internal support as required.

    • Assist in preparing the project Building Regulations conformance statement.

    • Set out visits, requirements, and information to be provided by the Principal Contractor during the Construction Phase.

    • Conduct periodic inspections of the works, as defined in scope for each particular project.

    • Coordinate and gather variations to the design impacting Building Regulations compliance.

    • Input necessary documentation into the building information management system on an agreed platform with the Client.


    Requirements:



    • Building Control and Building Safety experience are essential.


    Working Arrangements:



    • Immediate start available for the right candidate.

    • Hybrid working pattern offered.

    • Hourly rate: c£50 p/h (Outside IR35).
