The role:

Alexander Steele are on the lookout for a Controls Engineer to join an ambitious and growing Food production business in the West London area, supplying major supermarkets & wholesalers throughout the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strongteam and have an impact on a large organisation.

Key responsibilities

To be the site expert regarding all matters relating to Electrical standards and control systems, providing guidance / training as well as hands on assistance when necessary
Compile accurate and detailed electrical specifications for plant, equipment and installations
Strong background in Electrical Engineering
Ability to develop and train staff
Experience working in Food manufacturing highly desirable
Experienced working with PLCs and all other aspects of Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Act and site electrical code of practice
Problem solvers and will think out of the box
Upbeat, positive and possess a good attitude to work
