GES are recruiting for a Planning Coordinator - Admin Support (Stand Fitting) to join our Planning Team. This role will be based in our offices at The NEC in Birmingham.


Job Function


Reporting to the Stand Fitting Planner, you will be responsible for the coordination of key administrative tasks within the Planning team.

By following integrated planning processes, the role will execute internal and external coordination with a primary focus on Stand Fitting.

What will you do?
Daily execution of job checks, ensuring instruction and works orders from all sources including Clarity and SOP are covered.

Collate and pursue the correct information received from internal stakeholders, typically the Commercial team and Service Centre.

Raise purchase orders as required including labour, materials etc.

Input data into Clarity, ensure this is kept up to date.

The booking of all travel and hotels for the UK and Europe.

Maintain and update Block Plans and distribute.

Carry out administrative support within the Planning Team when required, including absence and holiday cover.

Actively engage in process and change of methods as the Planning team evolves.

Process final figures when events are complete.

Issue invoices and ensure smooth process for external sources.

Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company.


Take a participative role in the Company's sustainability initiative and ensure where possible your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function.


Relationships


You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.


Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.


Hours of work
This is a full-time role based on 37.5 hours per week.

You may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods in order to meet the demands of the business, including overseas travel as required.


Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
