Manager opportunity within SME Accounting & Business Advisory Services offering team management responsibility and potential long-term progression to Director.


THE COMPANY


An established independent Chartered Accountancy Practice with a long history in Central Lancashire and a reputation as a leading Accountant and Advisor to entrepreneurs and growing SME businesses.

The firm provides clients with expert Audit & Accounts,Tax Advisory, Corporate Finance and fully Outsourced Financial Management solutions including FC / FD level advice.


THE OPPORTUNITY


As a result of ongoing growth a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant offering a senior level of responsibility within the practice and potential long-term progression to Director.


As a Manager you will oversee a team of accountants, reviewing their work, and be responsible for managing the delivery of Audits, Accounts and Outsourced Financial Management projects (FC / FD Advisory work), and have some involvement in Corporate Financeprojects.


Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with Company Directors and SME Business Owners
  • Overseeing a team responsible for Audit work, Accounts & Tax compliance work, and Business Advisory / Outsourced Financial Management assignments
  • Preparing and reviewing Monthly & Quarterly Management Accounting and Business Performance Analysis solutions to SME clients, presenting information and providing commentary and advice]
  • Supporting on Corporate Finance projects and transactions (due diligence work, forecasts & projections, business sales etc)
  • Ensuring excellent levels of client service are upheld across the portfolio

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified (or Qualified by Experience)
  • Background within Chartered Accountancy Practice (c.5+ years)
  • Good level of Accounts / Business Services and General Accountancy Practice experience
  • Experience of advising and working closely with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
  • Client focused approach, able to advise clients on a range of accountancy and business matters
