Accounts Assistant to join our growing team in

We are looking for customer focussed people who are natural listeners and demonstrate strong empathetic skills when dealing with our customers and take ownership of their calls to deliver an outstanding customer service and meet our customers' needs through identifying a solution and provision of a suitable replacement hire vehicle.

Accounts Assistant - Responsibilities
The role sits within our talented finance department which is currently a team of thirteen. You will be working across 3 different areas of our Group.

Together you will be accountable for the following areas:


  • Processing high volume of sale/purchase invoices 800+ a month
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements
  • Accurately processing income on a daily basis
  • Bank reconciliation Client and Office account
  • Raising sale invoices for credit control
  • Petty cash and credit card
  • Assist with month end tasks
  • Additional adhoc duties as requested.

Accounts Assistant - Skills required

  • Previous experience working in Accounts preferred
  • Experience on Sage software
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft programmes i.e. Excel, Word
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Can prioritise workload and manage caseloads
  • Comfortable talking to suppliers over the telephone.
  • Ability to work without supervision using your own initiative
