Freight Forwarder - Logistics - Preston**Are you experienced in Freight Forwarding and looking for a new opportunity?

Do you want to work for a well-established company going through a period of consistent growth?


We are assisting with the recruitment of a Freight Forwarder to join a well-established company who have successfully grown in the last few years and are now looking to grow their Freight Forwarding team by 3. This is an opportunity to join a multimodal supply chain operation and become an integral part of a close-knit team. This company are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a freight forwarding / shipping position with experience in either Deep Sea, European or Irish Freight **operations.


The Job role:


As Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Management
  • Full, Part Load and Groupage
  • Increase business through Account Management
  • Quoting
  • Use of Freight Exchanges / platforms
  • Administration start to finish
  • Building excellent relationship with hauliers and suppliers

The Requirements:

To be suitable for the position Freight Forwarder of you will ideally have the following:

  • Experience in a Freight Forwarding / Shipping position
  • Drive to grow the business
  • Experience in quoting clients
  • Ability to negotiate tariffs
  • Familiarity of Azyra system would be advantageous

Perks & remuneration:


The Package:


  • Salary circa £25K£30K
  • Annual attendance bonus
  • Cash health plan after 6 months

  • Office based role: 8am 5.30pm Monday
