Team Educate are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs and behavioural difficulties in Alternative Provision/ Special School settings.
Do you have a relevant Level 3 qualification linked to classroom support? Are you an experienced or Higher Level teaching Assistant looking for a more varied role working role? Here at Team Educate, we're currently in search of exceptional and experienced Teaching Assistants for our partner school, that provides alternative provision education for pupils outside of mainstream education.

Pupils at the school may be referred for a range of reasons, varying from behavioural and special learning needs to anxiety and trauma related backgrounds.


The role of Teaching Assistant is tailor-made for individuals who possess a strong desire and heartfelt dedication to nurturing the potential of all learners within the classroom.

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant previously is vital for this role
- ideally, you will have experience supporting pupils at primary age with varying needs and abilities, including SEND and behavioural difficulties.


The role of a Teaching Assistant:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play an integral role in providing tailored support to pupils, ensuring they receive the finest education and the tools needed for personal growth.

Collaborating closely with class teachers, you'll contribute to fostering a supportive teaching environment, allowing each pupil to thrive in their lessons.

Your experience will mean that you can work closely with children with mínimal supervision and will have the ability to take the lead in ensuring academic and behavioural development.

Successful Teaching Assistants should have:


  • A proactive attitude coupled with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Previous experience of working with/supporting the varying needs of young learners, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.

If you have a friend who may be interested in joining us? We offer £75 for every Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant referral and £150 for every Supply Teacher referral (terms and conditions apply).

Up to £90.00 per day
