Description

We require an experienced fabricator welder for ongoing workshop work, in Pontypool loads of overtime available, £17 per hour for under 40 hours a week, up to £20 an hour if worked over 40 hours a week.

Ongoing work, minimum of 3 months.


Job role & Duties
You will be involved in the fabrication of staircases, structural metalwork, balustrades, gates, railings and balconies, MIG welding.

Understanding of welding codes and standards - The ability to read and fabricate from drawings.


What's required?
PPE Requirements - Air fed mask, overalls, boots etc.

2 x references from previous employers (these can be names and telephone numbers for us to call)

Valid ID / Right to Work in the UK

English Speaking

NVQ/ City & Guilds qualifications

£17.00-£20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pontypool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
  • Fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
