Are you a qualified teacher based in Smethwick Birmingham?

I are recruiting for an passionate and experienced KS1 Teacher, to teach a hybrid year 1 and year 2 class from after Easter half term.

This role will be on a full-time basis with shared planning for KS1. The school is a quaint 1-form entry school with strongSLT team to offer support.

As a KS1 teacher you will be expected to have a good knowledge of phonics as well as KS1 SATs curriculum.

The head is looking for an enthusiastic teacher that has a passion for teaching and can promote inclusive learning for all.

The school is currently anOfsted "Good" with aspirations to be "Outstanding".

As KS1 Teacher you will be expected to work as a permanent member of staff, teaching the KS1 curriculum, Assess, Mark and plan.

Progress reports and staff meetings will be expected also.
To be considered for this role you will need;

  • UK QTS (ECTs may be considered)
  • Relevant teaching experienced within the primary setting.
  • Experience of teaching phonics
  • Strong interpersonal skills, Integrity and commitment
