BRM EMEA Corporates is currently seeking a Market Research Associate

based out of our London office.

  • The role is based within the Business Relationship Management (BRM) group, which leads business development and marketing efforts for Fitch Rating's corporate market franchise across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
  • The BRM corporates team is responsible for the growth and development of the corporate ratings portfolio through a twopronged approach leveraging relationships with senior decision makers in corporate entities, investment banks, private equity sponsors and debt advisory firms with the principal objective of generating new corporate bond and loan rating mandates.

We'll Count on You To:


  • Support team efforts to develop and execute marketing plans to generate new rating mandates and support existing relationship development by creating pitchbooks, case studies, tombstones and corporate coverage slides
  • Generate ideas for persuasive new marketing arguments and slide improvements for pitchbooks and ensure marketing materials are kept up to date
  • Use online webbased platforms to track market issuance, relevant indices and sector intelligence
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workflows and adapt to changing deadlines while maintaining very high levels of attention to detail and accuracy

What You Need to Have:


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of research, analysis and interpretation of large data sets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal & written, team oriented, enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Knowledge of online webbased platforms such as Bloomberg, Factset, Dealogic
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management systems (ie Salesforce) and generating reports
