**To provide support for a 16-year-old girl who has a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD and severe Learning Disabilities.


Person Specification:


We are looking to recruit a support worker to enable this 16-year-old young girl to develop her independence skills and ability to access the community safely.

The role will include helping her to understand managing money, using public transport and keeping herself safe when out and about.


Essential Requirements:


  • Always provide close supervision maintaining the young person's safety in all settings.
  • Have a high degree of initiative.
  • Be punctual and dependable as the young person cannot be left unsupervised.
  • Be flexible.
  • Have a happy, positive and caring nature.
  • Respect confidentiality.

Hours:

6 hours per week. The support is required at weekends with some flexibility around the times, which will be discussed with interested applicants.

Rate of Pay
- £13.09 per hour.

  • 5.6 weeks holiday prorata.
  • Out of pocket expenses will be met by the employer.

Additional Information:

An Enhanced DBS disclosure is required, cost to be met by employer.
