Personal Assistant

Based in Dundee (Broughty Ferry)

Part-Time, Permanent

£12 per Hour

We are seeking the right person to provide support to a young person who requires assistance in relation to physical health challenges.

Place of employment would be in the family home in Dundee and, at times, in the community. He is talkative and outgoing and enjoys participating in and watching sports.

The ideal personal assistant is someone who is willing to undertake training to manage his needs, will encourage his independence and is comfortable with communicating with children / teens.

Hours of work negotiable

Preferred working hours during Term time would be

Post one - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Post two - Thursday and Friday or Thursday or Friday

School holidays - hours flexible by mutual arrangement

We welcome enquiries in relation to the requirements of this role and working hours.

Employer will be the parents of the young person.

Post holder requirements
PVG Membership (essential)

References (essential)

Age 18 plus ( desirable) consideration will be given to those age 16 plus.

Experience of working with children or working / training in health care (desirable)

Willingness to be trained in management of care needs (essential) - full training will be provided.

Driving licence (desirable but not essential)
