IM&T Senior Leader - General Management

Job Title**:

Salary:
Circa £77,000 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and deliver the Information Management & Technology business engagement strategy
  • Develop and deliver a method of working for all business relationship roles within Information Management and Technology, covering all elements of the discipline.
  • Develop and deliver a communications strategy for IM&T both internally and externally
  • Provide general status updates for programme engagement and business relationship to the head of IM&T
  • Undertake programme engagement lead responsibilities as and when required
  • Direct line management responsibilities for programme engagement leads
  • Programme demand management

Your skills and experiences:


Essential

  • Communication or Engagement experience
  • Stakeholder management experience ideally to Senior Executive or C-Suite level
  • Business relationship management experience
  • Good communication skills

Desirable

  • Investment planning experience
  • Background in IT management advantageous but not essential

The Programme Engagement team:

Responsible for the communication and engagement team, which will consist of Programme Engagement Leads.

You will foster a work style that sets the standard expected at BAE Systems, continually driving consistency within your approach to each task.

Working alongside other Product Group Managers who are responsible for the IT service, delivery and architecture.


This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to represent IM&T in a leadership role across the Submarines business, Engaging with the business at a strategic level and influencing the IM&T related direction of the boat programmes.

You will be working in partnership with the business areas to ensure effective relationships between the boat programmes and IM&T are maintained, Strategic Investments are planned, and Critical Service issues are addressed as priority.


You will be responsible for devising and issuing communications on behalf of IM&T to both the internal IM&T function, but also to the wider business.

You will be recognised as a member of the wider leadership team across IM&T
