Project Controller - Crawley, United Kingdom - Scalian
Description
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Experience working within a relevant Engineering or highly technical/complex environment e.g. Defence, Nuclear or Civil Infrastructure.
- Experience of leading the planning process on very large complex projects and/or programmes including facilitating planning workshops, creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, Establishing Critical Paths, Managing Baseline Change Control and Deploying EVM.
- Evidence of proactively influencing project leadership decisionmaking using data from Project Controls, E.g. Variance Analysis, SRA, CRA, Critical Path, EVM and Risks/Opportunities.
- Experience of significant process improvement or designing and implementing new Project Control Processes.
- Experience of leading, line managing others, coaching and developing others within a PMO/Project/Bid environment.
- Experience of leading project controls and planning business rhythm/drumbeat on a major project, programme or portfolio.
- Proactive risks/issue/dependency management.
- Managing resource demand profiles on large and complex projects.
- Handson with project control technical and management issues on large and complex bids or projects and helping them to resolve challenges.
- Experience of using scheduling tools (ideally Primavera P6) on large and complex projects/portfolios.
- Experience in working with Defence or nuclear project is a must.
