Hours: 37 hours a week
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Council House


We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Officer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will primarily focus on providing legal advice and representation in the areas of community care and mental health law, including Court of Protection proceedings for the Adult and Health Department. Additionally, you will support the Education Lawyer, manage your caseload, and maintain a strong understanding of adult social care law. We offer flexible working arrangements, a stimulating caseload, and a collaborative environment.


Requirements:
  • Experience in a legal office
  • Knowledge of education law
  • Experience in local government
  • Enthusiastic and effective communicator
  • Ability to perform under pressure and independently
  • Provide clear and practical advice
