Do you have developing speciality skills in assessment and management of both communication and swallowing difficulties in the paediatric population? Do you have experience of working in an acute hospital? Our Inpatient and Feeding Speech and Language Therapy Team are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join them _.

We are currently recruiting to 1.0 whole time equivalent Band 6 Fixed Term Position (covering maternity leave starting June 2023).

You would join our innovative and supportive team of 11 SLTs and a SLT Assistant. The team provides feeding and communication input to all 23 inpatient wards and 9 specialist outpatient feeding clinics. The inpatient and feeding team are part of the wider SLT department at GOSH comprising over 30 therapists.

This post involves the assessment, differential diagnosis and management of communication and feeding problems of paediatric inpatients, from neonates to adolescents, with a wide range of complex medical conditions.

You will be supported by senior clinicians and join a dynamic team of therapists with a range of specialist skills.
