Con Mech Engineers is a local firm based in Stanley, Co Durham.

We have over 70 years in manufacturing ground engaging tools, precision engineering and offer a world class heat treatment service.

A vacancy has arisen for a Production Operative within our Precision Division, the main duties include:

Operating various machines from lathes, saws and VMC's to produce test pieces for our in house metalogical test house as well as a range of various parts.

Reading and understanding basic engineering drawings.

Following process on works orders.

Ensure a high standard of quality


Normal Hours of work are:
Monday to Thursday

Friday


Although the current area works a flat day shift we may look at putting this area on shifts as work increases.
