Job Purpose Reporting into the Manager for Early Careers Development, your primary focus will have three principal areas of responsibility:

Management of qualification and apprenticeship programmes and experiences - you will be responsible for the overall co-ordination of programmes ensuring a consistent and inclusive approach to allow our trainees to develop their experience,skills, behaviours and knowledge to support the growth ambitions of the firm and become leaders of the future. You will support the early careers manager with the day to day management of the qualifications and apprenticeships within the business.


Innovative approach - you will support the manager to ensure the firm is innovative in its approach to management information and up to date in all areas of professional qualifications, apprenticeships and early careers development.


Engagement - you will be supporting the business to ensure its trainee population is engaged in the overarching goal of building a team for the future. You will be expected at all times to consider the wellbeing of this population and takeappropriate action where needed.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Overall coordination of selected qualifications and apprenticeships
  • Provide monitoring of onprogramme management and escalation as appropriate
  • Maintain and update all relevant internal support and compliance documentation for the relevant qualifications and apprenticeships
  • Monitor compliance across relevant programmes and apprenticeships, including submissions and institute requirements with follow up to appropriate stakeholders where required.
  • Provide daytoday monitoring of trainee data and reporting relating to pre, during and post course/exam activities, supporting trainees and line managers as appropriate
  • Coordination of 'onboarding' onto programmes, and 'offboarding' of trainees completing their qualification or leaving the business and ensure the relevant stakeholders are informed, systems and management information are kept up to date
  • Review and analyse all programmes and apprenticeships to ensure they are meeting their aims in supporting the business strategy. Success targets and benchmarks remain relevant in a fastchanging world and recommend necessary improvements.
  • Maintain and control pathway updates to support trainees
  • Work closely with the resourcing team to ensure all dates are communicated effectively to all trainees and the business to support with business planning
  • Communicate, track and monitor exam results and ensure all management information is kept up to date to enable reporting
  • Support people managers and teams to ensure an understanding of programmes and appropriate information is provided including resource requirements
  • Support with the reporting of data to key stakeholders, including dashboards, exam results etc
  • Support other learning and development activities related to early careers
**Engagement

  • Identify opportunities to build engagement across the early careers' programmes
  • Support business units and teams to ensure a high level of learning and development engagement
  • Provide effective and accessible information to line management dealing with employee relations and addressing any areas of underperformance
  • Have a deep understanding of inclusion and embed this within the early careers development strategy to ensure equality of opportunity for all
**Subject Matter Expertise

  • Ensure a high level of understanding of selected qualificationsand apprenticeships
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders highlighting successes and value added and unblocking any delivery issues as they arise through liaison with internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with external tuition providers, Institutes and competitors ensuring best practise and up to date thinking on early career development to make recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with and support the talent acquisition team on external engagement activities, such as award submissions
