Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic motivated rehabilitation assistant to join our well established Stroke Team. You will assist all members of the multi-disciplinary team in delivering hospital and community based rehabilitation to stroke survivors.

The team covers across Swansea Bay University Health Board, therefore the ability to travel is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.


To support physiotherapists, speech and language and occupational therapists working within the stroke team across Swansea Bay, in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients.

The work will be based within the Early Supported Discharge Team and the in-patient rehabilitation team in Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

It will involve both community and hospital based therapeutic interventions and visits to aid prompt discharge, and assessing patient progress in their home.
