Description

A company with over 17 years of success behind them, revenues over £50 million, and locations in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, France & Germany are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant.

Full Time, Part-Time, Temporary, or Flexible.

Competitve Salary between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

Process purchase invoices manually and using our automated scan and capture system
Process employee expense claims and credit card statements
Prepare payment runs, arranging and settling contras
Perform supplier statement reconciliations and review aged creditors reports
Resolve queries in conjunction with the Purchasing team
Develop good relationships with key suppliers
Maintain purchase ledger accounts, posting and allocating payments
Input to short term cash flow forecasting
Contribute to implementation of new systems, processes, and controls

Required Skills:

Previous purchase ledger experience
Good Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised with experience of working in a high volume, fastpaced role
Highly motivated, selfstarter
Methodical and accurate with strong attention to detail
Used to working to tight deadlines

Desirable Skills and Personal Qualities:

Accounting qualification (fully or partqualified)
Familiarity with a multicompany, multicurrency environment
Experience of using Oracle Netsuite
