Job Title:
Bakeware Press Setter

Reports To:
Bakeware Engineering Manager

Direct Reports:
None

Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure the safe and efficient setting of Power Presses and equipment within the Bakeware Production facility at What More UK Ltd.

Key Tasks:

To install and remove a variety of bakeware tools using the SMED process to optimise change over time.
To set a variety of power presses in the Bakeware Department, according to optimal press settings and conditions.
To troubleshoot and problem solve issues with tool setting.
To ensure that guarding and other machine safety features are maintained, and that any deviation is reported.
To always maintain a safe and clean working area.
Use of FLT and other powered lift trucks to move tools around the shop floor and into machines.
To adhere to mandatory PPE requirements.
All legitimate management requests.

Essential Skills Required:

Must have previous experience with power press setting/press break setting, ideally setting Rhodes machinery.
Essential a good knowledge of press setting and associated health & safety practices.
FLT license.
Power Press Safety course (this will be provided).
Engineering background (mechanical bias electrical in a bonus).
