We are recruiiting for a Loans Sales VP

Profile Summary

Loan Sales & Trading is a client-focused flow trading and solutions business servicing a wide range of institutional investors across the globe.

Our flow sales and trading business provides market-making and targeted liquidity to clients and our salespeople deliver value-added, solutions-driven sales coverage with a focus on key client relationships.

Responsibilities:

To develop a sustained and profitable franchise in Loan products with a focus on the CLO client base
To leverage the strength of the entire Mizuho organisation and leverage opportunities with key clients
Work with Sales Management to identify key clients, wallet, new opportunities to deliver Mizuho's global product offering
Focus on growing revenues with priority clients, and monetize opportunities.
Deepen points of contact through the hierarchy of clients by linking analysts with analysts, traders with PMs etc.
Liaise effectively with other team members and accept responsibility for owning problems and delivering end results.
Identify client trends and themes and keep Management and peers abreast of changing landscapes.
Maintain a balance between high margin and flow products in order to develop a balanced revenue stream.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Great organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in selling Loans to CLO and Institutional Investors in Europe
Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve
Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance
Sound knowledge of the Banking Industry
To be certified in order to perform the role
Language skills are an asset, but not essential
