Description

Our client, a leading provider of solutions to the Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) and MGA sector, is looking for a Junior Account Manager as a direct result of business growth and development of new clients.


The Junior Account Manager role is centred on the management and oversight of a portfolio of clients, working alongside the Executive Team and Internal stakeholders, in order to ensure that the client remains compliant, provide effective support and adviceto the client, enabling them to devise and embed the appropriate controls that drive professional behaviour through practical and achievable good business practices.

The role will require close client communications to ensure a good understanding of the business, its operations and activities.

Furthermore, the Junior Account Manager needs to demonstrate capability and understanding of regulatory and compliance mattersin the delegated authority arena.

The role is supported by specialist regulatory colleagues and external partners.


The Junior Account Manager will be expected to work with the Executive Team in order to support a wide range of responsibilities associated with the day-to-day operation.

Furthermore, the Junior Account Manager will also take responsibility to identify anddeliver organic growth opportunities.


Experience / Qualifications required include:

  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Compliance and Operational Risk knowledge focused on Delegated Authority business
  • Communicating and Influencing Skills
  • Experience and expertise in the Delegated Authority market (possibly as a Delegated Underwriting Manager)
  • Extensive working knowledge of the London and International Market place


In addition, you must be capable of being Lloyd's and PRA/FCA approved and be prepared to work towards professional qualifications.
