Senior Developer**
The Pilot Group
Senior Developer

This role sits within one of the businesses within the Group ESL - who are an electrical product trading business (ESL are a dynamic, innovative, and fast-growing trading business).

Senior Developer-Summary of the role;

Key Competencies for the role of Senior Developer;

Experience in software development and coding in various languages (PHP, JavaScript ES5/6) and the Laravel/Lumen framework
Proficiency in Source control (Git, Github, Bitbucket)
Proficiency in Unix based OS (OSX, Linux)
Experience working in an Agile team
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, SASS BEM convention
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Postgres, Mariadb
Experience with testdriven development, PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress

Advantageous but not essential skills;

Docker/Kubernetes
CI/CD experience Jenkins
Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience developing in Oro Commerce or Magento or equivalent ecommerce platform
Experiences in business requirements documentation
