£ 19,000-25,000 (depending on experience)

Description
We are currently seeking an exceptional individual for the role of Office Assistant (Technical Service).

Experience of office duties is essential.

Knowledge of the following is highly desirable:
Microsoft word and excel, book-keeping, organisational skills.


The primary role of the Office Assistant is supporting the Technical Service Admin Manager to carry out efficiently their day-to-day tasks.

This will involve administrative support to ensure clients technical and service enquires are resolved in a timely manner.

You will have a passion for collaboration, be a great communicator, methodical and proud of the work you do.


_Please note, technical knowledge is NOT a requirement for this role although it would be advantageous. _

Position Requirements

  • Keeping on top of an online assigned task list which will include a range of tasks
  • Data processing

For example:
Purchase orders, quotations, sales orders, invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.

  • Respond to internal staff and external customer requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensuring customer product repairs that have been returned to our service centre are repaired in a timely manner, keeping the customer updated at all stages.
  • Quoting of spare parts and repairs to clients.
  • Procurement of spare parts from suppliers for stock and for product repairs.
  • Answering telephone calls from customers with a professional etiquette.
  • Organising and documenting of freight/shipping logistics.
  • Stock take/Stock counting for the service department
  • Filing.
  • Must have experience in an office environment processing and detailed administrative paperwork.
  • Must have a team player attitude and be willing to assist in other roles and departments other than their own during busy periods.

  • An articulate, eloquent and numerate individual, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communicator by phone and in person.
  • Organized, multitasking, detail oriented, accurate.
  • Monitor and report weekly/monthly on progress against the sales plan
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
