About role:


As a key driver to the development and delivery of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, the S&OP supply analyst will prepare advanced reporting and critical analysis providing information for business planning and management reviews.


The person must have a strong understanding of how to provide meaningful and actionable information utilising several different types of data.

Information needs to be accurate and detailed in order to facilitate effective decision-making. Information will integrate financial and operational plans, and link high-level strategic plans with the operational plans and capabilities.


Key responsibilities:


  • Close collaboration with marketing, 3PL's, buyers and supply chain team for SKU rationalisation, NPD and end of life management
  • Producing raw material forecasts and working closely with buyers to ensure they are maximising existing stock before purchasing new
  • Creating and producing capacity planning models for Supply chain, Operations and Logistics (Inbound, Occupancy, Production, Despatch and Logistics)
  • Manage Monthly S&OP meetings with key stakeholders to plan seasonality and overall performance of supply Vs. demand
  • Analyse and provide solutions for slow moving, excess or obsolete stock
  • Based on data analysis, market groups forecasts and historical trends, create midterm and longterm high level planning proposals
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of Sales and Operations planning supporting cost, service, and quality initiatives and drives process improvement initiatives to successful completion
  • Builds and manages tools and processes that support key objectives such as capacity, and supply planning, inventory modelling, service and revenue forecasting, plan optimization, and gap analysis. Develops advanced analytical tools and reporting to support the entire S&OP process
  • Coordinates and leads cross functional efforts that identify key improvement opportunities, then designs a plan of action, executes the plan, reports the results, and ensures sustainability.
  • Support decisionmaking and the improvement of critical processes including Production Scheduling, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Planning, Capacity Planning, Transportation Planning, and Distribution Resource Planning.

About you:


  • Min 3 years experience working within an S&OP process
  • Highly analytical and enjoys problem solving
  • You will able to move quickly, focus on impact and thrive on getting results

Skills and experience:


  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Expert in setting up highly analytical capacity / Supply models
  • SQL
