Description
We have a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join a creative, supportive, and growing Marketing team based at our head office in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan.
As a Marketing Assistant you will report directly to the Marketing Communications Manager and be a key support to the whole Marketing team.
Your role:
- Supporting the whole marketing team with the coordination of marketing /communications based around new product launches, depot openings, new services etc
- Supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a range of marketing campaigns
- Creating engaging written and visual content that highlights MGF's successful projects, products and people
- Supporting the organisation of internal and external events including attendance
- Assisting with the design of artwork including leaflets, graphics/imagery and infographics
- Supporting the management and distribution of promotional materials to the business
- Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company messages to new and existing customers
- Handling a range of digital media, including processing photographs, uploading videos and online content for social media, website updates and the internal media library
- Supporting the team with the company website, online store and social channels
- Being the marketing ambassador for your assigned depots, departments, and customer base
- Assisting daily with the marketing enquiries inbox and telephone calls
- Carrying out general administration duties
Working as part of the Marketing team, and other key departments from across the business, this role will drive the generation of engaging communications targeted across a varied marketing communications mix to the construction and civil engineering industry.
About you:
- Marketing or businessrelated degree or someone with relevant experience
- Ideally, you'll have a couple of years' experience, but we're open to meeting people who are looking to make their first step into marketing after their studies.
- Great interpersonal skills and a drive to get the job done
- Demonstrable ability to selfmotivate, work in crossfunctional teams and remain flexible
- Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office packages
