Incident Management Co-Ordinator to join our
Technology and Data team.

This is a
flexible hybrid working role with occasional visits to our offices, when required, in either Salford Quays, Manchester, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, or Guernsey.


The Incident Management Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the Incident Management Process and working closely with both Incident Management Owners and Incident Management Teams (IMT) to resolve and remediate incidents in a timely manner.

The role will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of both the Incident Management Process and IMT Knowledge Base and will include preparation of monthly reporting and delivery of reports to Pillar Governance Forums.

In addition, this role will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training and awareness to colleagues with Incident Management responsibilities, which remains fit for purpose in an ever changing and growing business.

The Incident Management Coordinator will be an Incident Management Team (IMT) and Crisis Management Team (CMT) coordinator, in which the role will be required to influence senior stakeholders in line with the Incident Management Process.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and maintain incident management detail within Protecht, ensuring all incidents contain current and clear information.
  • Maintain and continually improve the IMT Knowledge Base, as a central hub for all information obtained during IMTs.
  • Create PowerPoint slides using key information from the IMT Knowledge Base for sharing during new IMTs to support the awareness of the group and provide them with the necessary information to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Produce monthly reporting slides in the Master Resilience Report for Pillar Governance Forums, OCIO, FCG, FCIM and SICL ManCos and other relevant forums as necessary.
  • Attend relevant meetings to present Incident Management reporting slides, including Pillar Governance Forums.
  • Support the Resilience Management Team with creation and delivery of Incident Management training and awareness material, which may include own delivery or via elearning modules created by the Resilience Team.
  • Maintain and continually improve the Incident Management Process and as a minimum review and update annually.
  • Obtain monthly Incident Management Owner updates ahead of monthly reporting.
  • IM and CM Coordinator for all Incident Management Team (IMT) and Crisis Management Team (CMT) meetings, ensuring they are managed consistently in line with the IM Process and provide administration support, including Tracker, stage documents and appraisal.
  • Using wellstructured sessions with key stakeholders, identify true IMT root causes and associated actions to ensure root causes to be adequately addressed.
  • Manage and maintain robust IMT files, including stage and appraisal forms, evidence, trackers and communications and Lead fortnightly Incident Review Meetings.
  • Complete annual reviews of third parties, in line with the thirdparty schedule, including review of their BCMS, plans and policies and assessing the suitability of their business continuity arrangements as appropriate for the contract with First Central.
  • Support third party owners with RFP processes for new potential third parties by reviewing documentation, providing feedback, and giving guidance on any additional requirements prior to contract agreements.
  • Collaborate with third party owners to ensure delivery of detailed thirdparty reviews which identify any concerns, weaknesses or additional requirements and remedy as necessary.
  • Promote IM within the business, continually raising awareness of our processes, plans and tools.
