Technical Support Advisor Role Profile
The Role
Amplivox are looking to appoint a Technical Support Advisor to join the Operations team in supporting its continued business development and growth.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- First/second line customer support/communication verbal and written.
- Escalate technical issues that you cannot resolve, but also learn from them for the future.
- Liaising with customers regarding the servicing, repair and upsell of equipment.
- Contributing to the growth of the Service and Calibration business
- Dealing with general customer enquiries, providing further information
- Producing quotations
- Receiving, processing, and completing orders (Service, Consumables)
- Updating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Supporting UK sales team, for example with instrument loan requests.
Who is this role suited to
This role will suit those who have excellent attention to detail and willing and able to learn and develop, especially at a technical level.
Education / Experience
- Some previous customer service / technical experience is desirable and advantageous.
- Good general standard of education
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Ability to build customer relationships longer term.
- Applicants must be computer literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
