    Purchase Ledger Clerk | Darwen | £30-32k | Permanent

    The Business

    A long-established and successful manufacturer, operating globally, is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.

    This is a fast-paced role that is based full-time in the office. Manufacturing experience essential.

    The Role

    To ensure that all the purchase ledger process from purchases orders through to invoices and reconciliations is carried out in a timely manner in line with company deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities
    Manage supplier setup and ensure compliance with company policies.
    Process and reconcile purchase invoices, delivery notes, and orders. Circa invoices per month.
    Liaise with suppliers to resolve order, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
    Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and GRNI reviews.
    Support month-end processes to ensure an accurate, up-to-date purchase ledger.
    Assist with BACS payment runs, staff expenses, and supplier account reconciliations.
    Review supplier data regularly to ensure ERP system accuracy.
    Provide support for audits, exhibitions, and ad hoc finance or sales tasks.
    Benefits & Package
    £30,000 - £32,000
    Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm
