Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) professional to join our team.
As an SMSTS, you will be responsible for supervising and managing Fit out projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on health and safety practices
- Investigate accidents or incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
- Stay uptodate with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SMSTS or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
