Job Description:
- To define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, aligned to a customer led strategy supported by a sustainable business model
- To maintain a Product Roadmap and lead quarterly business reviews/ big room planning
- To facilitate constant communication between those who want work done and those who can do the work
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyse needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
- Work closely with customers, account managers and business teams to create and maintain a healthy product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
- Works with Product Manager and business to elicit, define, manage, and track the requirements of the product
- Works with customers and the business to prioritize features according to business value
- Ensures that Verisk Claims UK business stakeholders are fully engaged and communicated to at all times, i.e. keeping the different business stakeholders happy and informed at all times
- Produces user stories using INVEST criteria
- Pulls together communications materials and keeps track of the functional & nonfunctional requirements and scope for the team
- Facilitate discussions between the scrum team and the customer when necessary
- Accept or reject the functional deliverables from the scrum team on behalf of the Customer
- Line management of business and test analysts, including setting objectives and supporting training plans
Qualifications:
- Degree equivalent education
- Relevant and current Agile Certification
- 13 years' experience as a product owner in an agile software delivery environment
