An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UK's leading Mechanical Power Transmission Specialist.

We are the UK's largest manufacturer of Pulleys, Gears and Sprockets.

Furthermore, we are major manufacturers and stockists of major timing, conveyor belt and chain brands; with the capability to customise in-house.

The Quality Inspector will support the Quality Department to achieve its objectives and goals through continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

Support the Pulley Department with Inspection activities to ensure parts are manufactured to customers' specifications.
Support the Quality department to ensure Quality KPIs and objectives are met.
Liaise with production/sales to rectify technical queries.
Need to support all the teams with which you have contact and help achieve department objectives.

Desired Background:

Ability to use metrology equipment proficiently.
Ability to read & understand complex technical drawings with confidence.
Effective verbal and written communicator.
A proactive thinker with strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office tools e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Knowledge of MRP systems.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday

09:00am - 17:00pm

Pay Rate

£14-16 per hour (DOE)
