Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?


Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young girl with complex care needs at her family home in Darlington.


We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.


Our service user is a young girl who is registered deaf and blind, sensory stimulation and play time will be a big part of your role.

It is important for her care team to engage and get involved in everything she enjoys.


During the day, her favourite thing to do is hand-painting, playing with her playdough and soft sensory toys and spending quality time with her family.


Night shifts will involve you getting our service user settled for the night and assisting with her bed time routine.


Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Seizure Management
  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG Feeding

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part time
hours per week

  • Days
  • 7.45AM 7.45PM

Please note that training will be provided locally

Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays £11.50 per hour Approx. £138 per 12 hour shift

Weekends £12.50 per hour Approx. £150 per 12 hour shift

Bank Holiday £15.50 per hour Approx. £186 per 12 hour shift
