    Purchasing Technician Role

    We are seeking two dynamic and proactive Purchasing Technicians to join our team in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to manage procurement activities, from budget preparation to supplier selection and negotiation, ensuring optimal quality, timelines, and costs.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage procurement activities in the purchasing area.
    • Prepare and monitor budgets.
    • Manage, negotiate, and develop suppliers, implementing improvement plans.
    • Select suppliers according to project needs.
    • Verify technical and contractual information provided by suppliers.
    • Visit and follow up on suppliers.
    • Track and resolve orders.
    • Provide administrative support throughout the purchasing process.
    • Review purchase requests and monitor order execution.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
    • Approximately 2-3 years of experience in project planning and organization, ideally not exceeding 4 years.
    • C1 level of English (certifications will be valued).
    • Please note that only applicants possessing a legal right to work in the UK will be considered for this position in Glasgow. We are unable to sponsor work visas.
