Clinical Assessor & Vaccinator (RHCP)

Responsible to:
Covid Vaccination Site Manager Accountable to: PCN Operations Manager Hours of work: Zero Hours contract, temporary contract (dates to be confirmed)

Location:
Hexham Mart, Care Homes, pop-up clinics, homes of housebound - across

West Northumberland Salary:
£18.90 / hour

Working Pattern:
Mostly weekdays, some weekends may be available


Job Summary:

As a Registered Healthcare Professional, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver booster vaccinations and be responsible for the following: Conducting clinical assessments prior to vaccination.

Determining clinical suitability for vaccination to go ahead Confirm patient consent and record these details Preparing the vaccine prior to administration by using aseptic technique.

Dilution and drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials.

Setting up the vaccination station. Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to policies and procedures. Ensure correct infection control and implementation Administering the vaccine safely to patients Support set up and shut down of the site
