Proactive Logistics Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Transport Operator to join a growing business based in Stowmarket.


What we want:

We are searching for an individual who wants to succeed in assisting to run day to day transport operations associated with container transport.

Job Role and key responsibilities:

• Ensuring deliveries / collections are completed on a daily basis with high levels of accuracy
• Inputting bookings
• Managing subcontractors
• Ensuring accurate maintenance of specific operational spreadsheets.
• Customer account management
• Undertake any other tasks/duties as required

The role is permanent Monday to Friday, hrs, with salary depending on experience. There will be a requirement for a degree of out of hours work.


Key skills required:

• Strong UK geographical knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years Previous experience within a distribution environment
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Quick and efficient problem solving and decision making
• Ability to prioritise and organise
• Driven and motivated to succeed

Salary:
Up to £45,000.00 per year
